Belief: Firm
belief in 'empowerment through education and freedom through knowledge' as a sure
path in building a better future for the society enabled the trustees to build
and nurture an organization committed to its mission and operating in all the
districts of Andhra Pradesh through its centres, staff members and volunteers.
Basic
Education - Schools At
basic education level the organization has established (and manages) 57 Urdu medium
schools in remote villages of the Telangana region of AP., where until a few years
ago no school existed. Over 9135 children are educated here by 172 teachers. The
organization also established (and manages) 5 English medium schools providing
education up to SSC level in poverty stricken urban slums and semi urban areas
of Andhra Pradesh. Over 3000 students are being educated in these schools.

Higher
Education Support - Scholarship Programme: Over
the years FEED & HZCT has developed and perfected systems that facilitate
mass publicity of scholarship programmes, seek and identify deserving students
and provide them with scholarship and support for intermediate (10+2) and higher
education in diverse courses such as medicine, engineering, nursing, Pharmacy
MBA, MCA, B.Ed, general graduation etc., thus fulfilling their educational aspirations
and dreams of the poorerst of the poor comming from remote and interior villages
of the state of AP.

Growth
in Scholarship mobilization and disbursement during the last 4 years

Vision
2015 The
trustees have a dream to support 4,00,000 students by the year 2015-16 and mobilize
and disburse a budget of 200 crores (approx US$.50 Mill). The trustees apart from
sparing no effort, firmly believe that their dream will turn to reality by the
Will of Allah. The
empowerment of the poorest of the poor children and youth from remote and interior
villages of Andhra Pradesh with education will enable them to achieve their oblective
and cascade into economic up-liftment of their families to better demographic
levels. The object is to upgrade the quality of citizens in general and muslim
citizens in particular. A separate link is provided for vision 2015 that describes
the goal in detail. In
the coming 10 years that is by 2015 we hope to support and help create over 100,000
professionals and graduates. Inshallah.
